A Pocket Full of Posies Giveaway!

Authored By: ellie g Author/Writer
April 6, 2011 --1:00 PM

I have a REALLY fun giveaway to share today, from a great company Pocket Full of Posies!

Between blogging, a sorta part-time job, family, church, laundry….and who knows what else…..I have been getting SUPER stressed about meal time lately.

It’s so embarrassing to make that phone call at 5pm.

“Babe.  Sorry, but I haven’t even begun to think about dinner.  Can you bring home some of that pizza that makes our breath stink, and sends me straight to the potty, please?”

The sad thing is, a lot of time it’s not necessarily a lack of motivation.  It’s mostly just poor planning, on my part.  I just don’t think about it.  Until it’s too late to make something.

That’s why I was really excited when Cammie & Emily contacted me with their really smart meal planning system.

Their recipes and meal planning pockets are a complete system that will help you take all the guesswork out of meal planning.  Plus….the pockets are REALLY cute.  And come it LOTS OF COLORS.

You can put it up right on your fridge.  And start planning (or letting THEM plan) right away!

What’s not to like about black & white….right?  They’re my favorite!  In any combination!

Here’s what’s great:

  • New yummy recipes to try. (and they’re not made with weird ingredients that you won’t have, or can’t find.  They are real recipes.)
  • The recipes come grouped in 5 meals that have similar ingredients.  You just shop for those ingredients, and you’re set for a week.
  • I don’t have to think about what to make.  What to buy. And how to get a list together.
  • There are different RECIPE PACKAGE OPTIONS so that you can pick one that your family will be able to use the most.  Cammie & Emily let me know that they offer a low calorie pack.  That came in handy, since I’ve been on a diet plan.  I try to make meals that my whole family can eat.  Rather than cooking something different for myself.
  • They also offer CUSTOM PACKAGES where they will format your existing recipes to fit their pocket planning system.  You send the recipes, they sent them back formatted for you.  Easy peasy.

I LOVE feeling in control of this part of our life.  Still, I have to admit…..I called out for the dreaded Pizza this week.  Bad Ellie G!

But it wasn’t because of my “pocket” not working.  It was because I went shopping for all my new recipes….right before dinner.  Like RIGHT before.  Like, I was putting all our groceries away while feeding my family pizza.  PLEASE tell me I’m not the only Mommy who does this?  Just me?

POCKET FULL OF POSIES has graciously offered to giveaway one of their Mega Monthly pocket packages to a Less Cake {more frosting} reader.

You get your own pocket, 80 recipes, 16 ingredient lists, and detailed instructions on how to get started. (a $25 value!)

How can you enter?

  • Head over to POCKET FULL OF POSIES and find a recipe that you think you wanna try.  Leave me a comment telling me which one sounds good to you!
  • For an extra entry, leave me a separate comment telling me which Pocket you’d choose if you win.
  • You can have a third entry for sharing the giveaway!  Tweet, Blog, or mention on Facebook for a third entry.  Let me know which way you shared the giveaway in a comment on this post.

The giveaway will be open until Sunday April 10th at 10pm MDT.  The winner will be announced on Monday April 11th.

Happy meal planning!

*I was given a pocket meal planning system to use in my home.  The opinions expressed are my own.
Do you have anything to say?
