One Word, One Goal 2012….It’s a WRAP!

Authored By: ellie g Author/Writer

The time has come to wrap up the FANTASTIC “One Word, One Goal” series for 2012.
Please tell me you were as COMPLETELY inspired by it as I was!!!

Every single day made me think about things in my life that I want to work on.  But I never felt guilt.  Just inspiration.  And it is quite possibly the MOST uplifting month of blogging I’ve ever had.

HUGE

shout-out and THANK YOU to all of the fantastic bloggie ladies that agreed to share their words with all of us.
I hope they know that by sharing, they influenced a TON of people!

(I meant to make this all fancy and clickable…but I didn’t…because I’m “refining” what is important there you go!)

MAKE SURE these blogs are on your “must read” lists.

I have been so inspired that I will be super sad to see it all go…..but I do have to admit that I’m EXCITED to get back to “blogging as normal”, and sharing some fun Valentine Tutorials as well as a Holiday Printable or two.

But before we let all this fantastic inspiration go…I have ONE MORE PROJECT.  I have received SO many lovely comments and E-Mails about your personal “One Word, One Goal” posts for this year.  I WISH I could feature each of these posts individually.  But instead, I thought I’d make a place where we can gather them all together.

In lieu of a tradish “linky party” to share our “One Word” goals.  I’ve created a “One Word, One Goal” board on the fab-oo PINTEREST SITE.

If you have a “One Word, One Goal” post sharing your personal word for 2012, please leave a link here in the LCMF comments.  (or shoot me an e-mail) and I’d LOVE to “Pin It” to our inspirational board.  How fun will it be to have a BUNCH of inspirational posts all within one click?

I’ve already got all the LCMF One Word 2012 posts up and ready to go.  And I can’t WAIT to add yours!

I have really loved the Word posts too!! I have a post and a little button over on my site. I have a very non-traditional (can it be non-traditional if its new??) anyway…my word was YELLOW. Yep… I picked a color but a color that says so much! You can check it out over at http://sammaspot.blogspot.com/2012/01/this-little-word-of-mine.html

What a great idea to make a Pinterest site for all these fab words!!!

    Thanks!!!!

My word for the year would be “Family”. We always look great in the eyes of family. And when there is no one, you can count on family.

I have loved your series this month and love your blog lists. I think I will be checking out several of them! My word for the year is surrender. As in surrendering myself to His will. I wrote about it at the beginning of the month. You can find it here.

Surrender. That is such a brave choice! I loved reading about how you chose it. (I also love your last year’s word…by the way! Very powerful!) All pinned. Thanks for sharing.

It’s so hard to choose, but my goal word is COMPLETE. I am infamous for being a quick starter, and leave so much unfinished. What results are projects incompleted… ideas left abandoned… interests left hanging. This is the year of completion. COMPLETE.

A little late to this party, but I am thrilled to see so many people making one word goals for the year. Picking a word for our year has been something I have done for a few years now, and I just love it. My theme this year is “ENJOY”, which you can see here (I made a pretty photo for it):

Off to check out all the rest now!

Loved the series. I loved the word nourish but wanted my own. I chose “seek”. To seek for the good in all things. To discover and continually learn. To seek for wisdom and guidance.

I chose Forward (http://www.eclecticmamma.com/2012/jan/26/looking-forward-and-for-you/) and threw together a nice picture to hang on my wall between holidays… Actually, in my post, I’ve offered to make customized printables for whatever word/picture you want, so if you haven’t done something with your word yet, come on by and let me know! :-)

I love this idea…simple, but so powerful. My one word, one goal for 2012 is “Change.” I’m hoping to make lots of changes this next year and I am specifically focusing on a permanent change each month, so Twelve in 12 is my mantra this year.

Thank you so much for this great idea.

    Enjoy life’s little changes,
