Today I had plans. Big ones. And I was going to do a GREAT organization thingy…..
My body had different plans.
But, in order to make the best of it.
I had an idea.
I’m sure it’s not new, or novel, or even original. (so no need to tell me….)
But I’m loving it, so I thought I’d share.
I started a new Pinboard called “Brown Paper Packages“. You know. The kind tied up with string? So if you notice me pinning weird things…here’s why.
It’s my favorite things. Things that make me smile. Things that change my mood. Things that inspire me. Things that make me sing. Things that make me laugh.
It’s like I’m trying to find my smile. Just like Billy Crystal in “City Slickers”. Only a lot less Cows are involved.
I don’t care if a single person ever looks at it. Because, let’s be honest, the things I love are different than the things you love. But I had to share…because the process is proving to be super fun and cathartic. And I can’t wait to pin things to it all the time.
So if you’re finding yourself a little down, a little Eeyore. Maybe start a new Pinboard. One that makes you smile. Not things you wish you had. Projects you wish you did. People you wish you looked like…..I’m talking just ALL your faveies in one spot. It’s kinda working for me!
I have a board sort of like that. It’s called “I like that”, but your name is sooo much better!!
The name doesn’t matter….just as long as it’s all you baby!

I have a board like that and I call it “Things that make me smile.” So when something does just that I put it on that board.
See? You’re smarter than me.
But isn’t it kind of the greatest thing ever? My mind is seriously running with all the things. It’s gonna end up being my biggest board! Too funny.
I have one too, mine is “Just because I like it”. Some of the stuff on there probably want make sense to a lot of people, but
