Do you ever go shopping and see a product and you think….”I totally want to buy that….just because it looks cool”? Please tell me that’s not just me!
I’m not kidding. Pretty sells me.
Sometimes I end up getting burned. Not a literal burn. But like, you know, “boo! Pretty turned out to be pretty crappy!”
I get stoked when “pretty” and “pretty amazing” meet and have a gorgeous, talented, product baby! (did I go too far with that analogy? I feel kinda proud of it. But I’m a titch nutty.)
I really adore sharing things on my blog that I love! ‘Member how I love frosting, and eat it with a spoon? I’ve been wanting to share this awesome stuff with you for months now.
It’s about time.
I feel like I’m actually fulfilling my duty as an ambassador of awesome-sauce.
(yes. That’s an official title.)
Now is the best time EVER to introduce you to Method. My absolutely bestest crush for pretty cleaning products that kick butt in the “this actually works” department.
Of course, my first attraction to Method was its design. And NOW look at the brand new line hitting Target stores this month! It is a warm, bring on the yummy, fall line that features the mind blowing design of the infamous… (which means MORE than famous) world renowned pattern maker, Orla Kiely!
(and look close…I hear they are FLYING off the shelves. But I found these at my Target on my last visit. So I know they are available)
Ms. Kiely has been described as “the Queen of prints”. And MAN that’s accurate. If I was going to describe my feelings about Orla Kiely’s amazing design I would say they are “Beautifully simple, and simply divine.”
There is absolute beauty in her prints and patterns. And a lovely “that’s Orla” feeling. Except each one also carries a distinct quality that makes them all individually special. Which is kinda how I would be in a perfect world.
In an imperfect world…I am currently sporting a Kelly Kapowski tee shirt and eating ice cream from the container. Not beautiful. But kinda awesome…in my own way.
I have had the opportunity to start learning more about the Method company and…. you guys……..seriously! This company and I might have been twins and disasterously separated at birth! They are focused on some of my MOST favorite things.
- Beautiful design (hello? Favie!)
- Yummy scents (does cleaning have to smell like….you know….cleaning?)
- And environmental friendliness (which admittedly is NOT my forte. But because of my undying adoration….I’m gonna let them teach me about it. That’s what you do for family)
This new line has some AMAZING Orla patterns.
These soaps will look outstanding on your counter.
I HATE ugly soap containers. In fact, I usually pour them out into some other container. Not my Method soap though. I line those suckers up and stare at them. (If they were people…they’d think I was a creepy stalker.)
I actually have the WHOLE Orla line. The smells….oh THE SMELLS! I am obsessed with smell. I have nightmares about my kids bringing their friends here and being known ever more as “the stinky house”. C’mon! You know you had a friend who’s house was totally rancid. Sick! I die.
My absolute favorite in this line is the Pear Ginger. I want to spray it on my clothes. And my sheets. It is a pure delight.
If you need to get yourself some of this amazing new line (and you do!)….head to your nearest Target. (don’t lie you were going there anyway….because that store is like a little piece of heaven on earth. With a parking lot.)

I love Method products! I currently obsess over the Sweet Water scent! I also have the Spearmint antibacterial bathroom cleaner. Definitely interested in trying out the new line!
I’ve always adored the Method bottles on the Target shelves but never bought one–I wasn’t sure if they were just another pretty bottle. You’ve convinced me to give it a shot!
I love Target and I love Method…In fact, I have a happy little bottle at my kitchen sink right now!
I love their stuff!! It’s so pretty. And pretty sells me too!! So fun!! We use the hand cleaner in all of our bathrooms. And the Orla Kiely designs are delightful!

Yay!! I’ve always been drawn to Method but haven’t ever purchased. I went to Target the other day and saw these on the shelf and took a pic with my phone. I looooooove the Orla Kiely designs. Anything Orla Kiely is amazing. Think it’s time to bring some home with me.
Those little bottles of soap are so you Lara! Clean and classic designs they have your name all over it. I love the subtlety of the designs they are gorgeous. I am going to take a peek next time I am at Target. I, too have a thing for pretty soap bottles.
I love Method product and these Orla Kiely bottles throw it over the top. The pear ginger smells amazing. I love spraying it on my counters!

Lara, I’ve seen Method on the shelves at Target and I’ve always loved the designs, but this post has totally convinced me to pick some up during my next shopping trip. In fact, I think I need one for every bathroom in my house. I totally love your taste and if your love affair with these cleaning products is as genuine as you always are with everything else, I know I will love them!
Method had been my favorite since I decided to ditch harsh chemicals a few years back. Pink grapefruit is my fave by far. And I LOVE the toilet cleaners because I can let the kids help me clean, and they love to clean toilets for some reason, and I don’t have to worry about crazy chemicals splashing on them. I love method! It’s good for the environment, good for our bodies, and smells divine!!!
I have been tempted to try. I order online co bigelow and have not taken the chance to try method. I just mighr have to now. Totally awesome package and if the soap isn’t over powering I want some!
Wiith my back problems I don’t get out much, so I have not heard of Method. (Don’t throw things at me). I really like the pattern design, I will have my husband pick up some the next time he is in Target. How are you doing sweetie? We are praying for you. Stay COOL!

I love method & Orla Kiely – was very excited to see her designs on their packaging. The ginger pear is lovely. My favorite method product is the mint glass cleaner – can be used on countertops as well. Added perk: My cat hates the smell of mint, so cleaning with this keeps him off the counters!
