I LOVE it when I can share products that I completely love with my readers. I think I’ve made it pretty clear over the years that I don’t ever promote products that I don’t personally believe in. I’ve been a SUPERFAN of Jo Totes camera bags for several years now. And I’ve kind of made a name for myself by taking the already FABULOUS bags and adding something a little “Lara” to them.
My next one was a little smaller….and carried the addition of my current color obsession. A little Georgia in Herringbone.
But I admit to being a 3 timer. Because now I’m in love with this Missy in Chocolate. But as usual…I couldn’t just leave it alone! I have to add a little Lara magic to it.
I am obsessed with all things gold and antique gold lately! Don’t you love it too? I got to thinking that my little Missy in Chocolate could use some gold.
I want to unzip it with gold too.
Now it’s perfectly me! Wanna know how? I scoured the craft stores for a trim I liked. (I’ve actually had this one for almost a year now! When you see it…BUY IT!) Then I just sewed it on to the pockets and zipper pulls with a double thickness of gold thread.
- Make sure you have a super sharp, super long needle. I bought a doll needle pack
- Make sure you have a thimble and a rubber circle for pulling the needle. And don’t be surprised if your fingers hurt in the morning.
- Don’t pull it with your teeth. (just trust me)
I LOVE this Missy style because it has a pocket for my computer. And I’m excited to take it to the airport with me tomorrow when I head into my newest surgery in Arizona. I usually have to take a separate laptop bag. YAY!
I know the holidays are coming up. Wouldn’t this be an amazing early gift? You also want to make sure to go to the Jo Totes website and decide which one you want to put on your wish list for Christmas.
