I just snorted at my desk. At work. Oh, I don’t consider myself claustrophobic either, unless my brother and sister pile pillows on my head and sit on them. How did we survive childhood?

What? They didn’t let you take your iPod and listen to it? You need to tell the peeps, to “get with the program” and allow you to use your iPod/touch/phone! Our hospital plugs it in out in the room the workers are in and you get to listen to headphones while you are going through the MRI! Helps so much and gives your mind something to do, other than get freaked out!

I cannot imagine the pain and struggle you have been going through the past 9+ years. You have. Wonderful support team of family and friends who love you. You have also touched many people through the blogging world who would ne willing to help their friend. As I was reading a thought came that I wanted to share. Last Spring for one of my BSN classes we needed to watch a PBS movie about women who have similar struggles. It’s a NOVA program called “A Walk to Beautiful”. There are many resources from the video that help someone understand your situation or one that is similar. I enjoyed your writing and the upbeat approach. The pain is there but also your humor. I hope your surgery goes well next week. Much love and prayers for you.

Dude. I TOTALLY get being concerned with hair. That’s important. The tech was laughing at me when I wanted to keep on my pretties. But he was totally cool with it. Good luck with that EEG next week. I’m on some anti-seizure meds right now. And they make me SLEEEEEEEEPY!

My husband and I took a photo of ourselves next to a street sign that said “Covered Wagon” on our honeymoon. I believe we started our marriage on a the right foot. And you know that primary song about covered wagons? Yeah, we are the most mature adults during that one in the primary program…

You make me laugh. I think we share the same sense of humor. I use humor to get through the tough stuff. I recently got to experience an ambulance ride & 2 day hospital stay for a seizure that I don’t remember having (at 2am). While in the hospital I got to have a CTscan, MRI and an EEG. While going through all the tests I kept asking the techs if my hair looked ok. I mean I didn’t have time to get all pretty before heading to the hospital. Next week another EEG and hopefully some answers. Hope all goes well with your surgery and you have a speedy recovery. Sending happy thoughts your way.
